201329 - Emergency First Aid
Course Description
This is a nationally recognized course delivered to either the Red Cross or St. John Ambulance standards and is design to help participants learn basic life-saving skills. Upon completion of the course you will recognize life-threatening emergencies and provide first aid until medical help arrives. CPR/AED training is included in this course.Learning Outcomes

In an effort nationwide, all St. John Ambulance Councils across Canada are going paperless in the classrooms. This change in service is meeting a business objective that not only takes into consideration the environment, but also the information technology requests of our clients as well.
Please be advised that the daily course schedules are subject to change and all participants should be prepared for course deliveries outside normal business hours (i.e. evenings and weekends). You will be notified if any such change is necessary. In the event of inclement weather, students should visit www.mi.mun.ca for important announcements regarding class cancellations and rescheduling. Announcements regarding class cancellations will also be on local radio stations.
If you are eligible to receive a T2202A for tax purposes, they will be available on Short Course Registration in February of the following year. Students are advised to log into your Destiny account in order to print a copy of your T2202A form.
