Course Description
This course introduces the student to interior live fire situations, providing them with the knowledge and skills through theoretical and practical training to perform interior fire suppression techniques either independently or as a member of a team.Learning Outcomes

Approved Fit TestNotes
To comply with Provincial OH&S legislation all students participating in this course to be clean shaven and must provide a fit test certificate (quantitative) for use of Scott AV 3000 style face piece. Fit testing for this training can be completed on site. Please note that there is a fee associated for this service of $65 plus tax.Please be advised that the daily course schedules are subject to change and all participants should be prepared for course deliveries outside normal business hours (i.e. evenings and weekends). You will be notified if any such change is necessary. In the event of inclement weather, students should visit www.mi.mun.ca for important announcements regarding class cancellations and rescheduling. Announcements regarding class cancellations will also be on local radio stations.
If you are eligible to receive a T2202A for tax purposes, they will be available on Short Course Registration in February of the following year. Students are advised to log into your Destiny account in order to print a copy of your T2202A form.
