200002 - High Angle Rescue Refresher
Course Description
This course is designed for participants to review high angle rescue equipment and techniques, to learn current practices, and to demonstrate competency in identified skill areas.
Learning Outcomes
To give participants the opportunity to:
- Review and demonstrate competency in using rope and high angle rescue equipment.
- Review and demonstrate competency in various high angle rescue techniques.
- Be introduced to current practices.

Prerequisites should be provided to administration prior to course start date but students can bring them along the morning of registration.
Please be advised that the daily course schedules are subject to change and all participants should be prepared for course deliveries outside normal business hours (i.e. evenings and weekends). You will be notified if any such change is necessary. In the event of inclement weather, students should visit www.mi.mun.ca for important announcements regarding class cancellations and rescheduling. Announcements regarding class cancellations will also be on local radio stations.
If you are eligible to receive a T2202A for tax purposes, they will be available on Short Course Registration in February of the following year. Students are advised to log into your Destiny account in order to print a copy of your T2202A form.
