Course Description

This course provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills in confined space entry and rescue.

Learning Outcomes

• Enable the student to understand the dangers and procedures associated with confined space entry and rescue.
• Enable the student to operate the different equipment used in confined space entry and rescue.

Please be advised that the daily course schedules are subject to change and all participants should be prepared for course deliveries outside normal business hours (i.e. evenings and weekends). You will be notified if any such change is necessary. In the event of inclement weather, students should visit www.mi.mun.ca for important announcements regarding class cancellations and rescheduling. Announcements regarding class cancellations will also be on local radio stations.

If you are eligible to receive a T2202A for tax purposes, they will be available on Short Course Registration in February of the following year. Students are advised to log into your Destiny account in order to print a copy of your T2202A form.
