Course Description

This course is designed to provide participants with an introduction to various Regulatory Food Safety Systems existing within Canada. 

Learning Outcomes

To enable participants to develop an understanding of:

  • PCP requirements as promulgated in the Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR)
  • Preventive Control Plans (PCPs): How they are developed, implemented, and maintained
  • Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)
